Know your repair coverage
Warranty & Repair Terms
Understand what is covered before leaving your device or approving work. These terms describe the limited repair warranty provided by NEPFOSYS LLC, doing business as Mashfix Computer Repair Services.
Repairs for every device type and brand include coverage for the completed work and parts supplied, subject to these terms.
No Mashfix repair warranty for liquid-damage repairs, cleaning or corrosion-related failures.
Apple coverage follows Apple’s applicable terms. Independent Mashfix repairs have separate coverage.
30-day limited repair warranty for all devices
All repairs performed by Mashfix, for every device type and brand, include a 30-day limited warranty, subject to the liquid-damage exclusion and other terms below.
Mashfix warrants the workmanship and replacement parts we supply for a completed repair for 30 days from the date the repaired device is returned to you. For an onsite repair, coverage begins when that repair is completed. Coverage applies to the specific work and parts identified on your repair invoice under normal use, subject to the exclusions below.
The warranty covers a defect in our repair workmanship or a defective part supplied for that repair. It does not provide whole-device coverage or cover an unrelated component simply because the device develops a similar symptom. We will evaluate the reported problem and explain whether it is related to the covered repair.
If your written estimate, invoice or warranty card provides longer or additional coverage, we will honor that coverage. This page does not shorten an existing written warranty or change the terms of a repair you previously authorized.
Liquid-damage repairs: no Mashfix repair warranty
Mashfix does not offer its limited repair warranty on liquid-damage repairs, liquid-damage cleaning or corrosion-related failures. Liquid exposure can cause hidden or progressive damage. A device may work after cleaning or repair and later develop the same problem or a different failure.
This exclusion applies to liquid-damaged circuitry and work undertaken to address that damage. Any separate warranty expressly provided for a replacement part remains as stated on your invoice. It does not create coverage for other liquid-damaged components. Tell us about any known spill or prior liquid exposure before work begins.
We explain the proposed work, risks and any diagnostic or cleaning charges before approval. A repair attempt or cleaning does not promise that a liquid-damaged device can be restored or will remain reliable. This exclusion does not remove rights or responsibilities that apply by law.
Apple products and Apple warranty terms
An Apple Limited Warranty, AppleCare plan or repair performed by Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider follows the applicable Apple warranty terms, AppleCare terms or Apple repair terms. Coverage depends on the device, service and eligibility.
Mashfix is an Apple Independent Repair Provider, not an Apple Authorized Service Provider. Independent repairs performed by Mashfix are not covered by Apple’s warranty or AppleCare plans. Using a genuine Apple part does not by itself make an independent repair Apple-backed. Our 30-day limited repair warranty applies to eligible independent Mashfix repairs of Apple devices, just as it does to repairs of other device brands, subject to the liquid-damage exclusion and any additional coverage documented on your invoice.
Before approving service, ask us to confirm the repair route and the written coverage for your device. If you want service under an Apple warranty or AppleCare plan, use Apple’s service and repair options to confirm eligibility. This policy does not replace or reduce any applicable Apple or manufacturer coverage.
What the limited warranty does not cover
- Liquid-damage repairs and corrosion-related failures, as explained above.
- New accidental or physical damage, misuse, excessive force, improper power sources, or normal wear unrelated to defective repair work or a supplied part.
- Unrelated components, pre-existing faults outside the approved repair, or additional work that was not performed.
- New software problems, malware reinfection, or changes made after service that are unrelated to the completed repair.
- Defects in customer-supplied parts; our installation workmanship remains covered where otherwise eligible.
- Damage caused by later modifications or third-party work. Having another provider inspect or service a device does not automatically void coverage.
A hardware repair warranty does not promise recovery of lost files, future data retention, or a working device after a data-recovery-only service. Back up accessible data and tell us if preserving files is your priority. Any separately agreed data recovery terms remain applicable.
How to request warranty service
- Contact Mashfix during the warranty period with your invoice or repair reference and a description of the problem. If you cannot find the reference, we can help locate the service record.
- Arrange an inspection with the team. Avoid continued use if the device is overheating, has a swollen battery or may suffer further damage.
- We will explain the findings. A confirmed covered defect will be corrected by repair or replacement of the affected part, including the related labor, at no additional charge. If the issue cannot be corrected within a reasonable time, we will discuss an appropriate remedy, including a refund for the affected repair where appropriate or required by law.
If the problem falls outside this warranty, we will explain why and obtain your approval before any chargeable work. Reporting a covered problem within the warranty period preserves the request even if the agreed inspection takes place afterward.
Call 682-812-5256, email support@mashfix.com, or contact your Mashfix service location. Written requests may be sent to Mashfix, 4324 N Belt Line Rd, Suite C103, Irving, TX 75038.
Before authorizing a repair
Submitting a quote, appointment or intake form acknowledges that you have reviewed these terms; it does not authorize a repair, approve a price or waive your legal rights. The team will confirm the proposed work, price and applicable coverage before requesting repair approval. Customers arranging service by phone or in person may ask for a copy of these terms before leaving their device.
This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by state. Nothing in this policy excludes or limits a right, remedy or responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Policy version: . Applies to repairs authorized under these terms.
