Privacy and service requests

Mashfix website privacy notice.

This notice explains information collected through Mashfix’s website, forms and repair assistant, and how that information supports service requests and website measurement.

Information submitted through the website

When you request a quote, appointment, onsite visit or repair intake, the form may ask for your name, email address, phone number, city, ZIP code or service address, preferred Mashfix location, device type, device brand, problem description and requested date. We also record your warranty acknowledgment, liquid-exposure answer, liquid-damage no-warranty acknowledgment when applicable, repair authorization, policy version, acknowledgment wording and associated timestamps as ordinary service records.

How the information is used

The submitted details are placed in Mashfix’s service system so the request can be routed to the selected branch or onsite service, reviewed by the team and answered by phone or email. The information may also be used to prepare for intake, document the reported symptoms and maintain ordinary service and business records.

Do not submit passwords or sensitive account information

Website forms are not designed for passwords, PINs, payment-card numbers, recovery keys, authentication codes, government identification numbers or other sensitive account information. If a repair later requires account access, arrange the appropriate method directly with the Mashfix team.

Website and service providers

Mashfix uses website hosting and operational service providers to receive and process submitted requests. Information may pass through those systems as needed to operate the website and service dashboard.

Privacy-conscious website measurement

Mashfix records limited first-party website activity—such as pages viewed, quote, booking, call or text actions, repair-assistant openings, general referral source and successful request type—to understand which services help customers and which marketing produces qualified inquiries. Anonymous activity measurement uses a temporary random session code and does not place customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, street addresses or problem descriptions in the public-activity table. After a successful request, the private owner-only lead ledger stores the customer name and phone number needed to connect that inquiry with its quote, job status and collected payment. First-party activity records do not store advertising click identifiers.

Google Analytics

Mashfix uses Google Analytics 4 to understand visits and engagement on public website pages. Google Analytics uses cookies and may process page URLs, referral information, browser and device details, and approximate location to provide website reports. Our integration does not send service-form contents or internal dashboard records to Google Analytics, and excludes staff intake and dashboard pages. Google signals and advertising personalization are disabled in the website tag.

Internal growth records

The restricted owner dashboard stores customer name and phone number with business outcomes such as branch, service category, lead channel, response time, quote status and collected amount. This lets Mashfix connect the correct inquiry with its quote, job progress and payment while evaluating service operations and revenue performance. Email addresses, street addresses, problem descriptions and device passwords are not copied into the growth ledger.
