Mashfix 30-Day Limited Repair Warranty

Straightforward coverage for the repair we perform.

30 calendar days

Coverage begins on the repair completion date shown on the final Mashfix invoice or service record.

Specific repair

Coverage is limited to the work performed and qualifying parts supplied and installed by Mashfix.

Liquid damage

Repairs performed to address liquid, moisture, corrosion or contamination are not covered.

What the 30-day limited warranty covers

Unless otherwise stated in writing for a specific service, completed repair services performed by Mashfix are covered by this 30-Day Limited Repair Warranty. Coverage is limited to the specific repair performed and qualifying replacement parts supplied and installed by Mashfix. It is not a warranty on the entire device or on unrelated components.

If the same repaired issue returns during the 30-day period and Mashfix’s inspection confirms that the problem is caused by workmanship from the original repair or by a qualifying replacement part supplied and installed by Mashfix, Mashfix will address the covered issue without an additional repair charge for the covered workmanship or covered replacement part.

The device must first be returned to Mashfix for inspection. A successful repair does not guarantee that unrelated, aged, damaged or previously failing components will continue to operate for any particular period.

Liquid-damage repairs — no repair warranty

Repairs involving current or prior liquid exposure, moisture damage, corrosion or contamination are not covered by the Mashfix 30-Day Limited Repair Warranty when the repair is performed to address that liquid-related condition.

Liquid exposure can affect multiple circuits and components at different times, and corrosion can continue or cause hidden failures even after cleaning and repair. A liquid-damage repair may be fully functional when returned and still develop a later failure that cannot reasonably be attributed to the specific work performed.

If liquid damage is discovered after intake and was not previously known, Mashfix will notify the customer before proceeding with liquid-related repair work and obtain acknowledgment of the no-warranty condition.

What is not covered

Apple product repairs

Mashfix is an Apple Independent Repair Provider (IRP), not an Apple Authorized Service Provider. For eligible Apple repairs, any warranty or service coverage provided by Apple for an Apple genuine part or eligible Apple service is governed solely by Apple’s applicable terms and conditions in effect for that repair. Mashfix does not modify, expand or replace Apple’s terms.

If no separate Apple-provided warranty or service coverage applies, the Mashfix 30-Day Limited Repair Warranty applies to work performed by Mashfix, subject to the exclusions on this page, including the liquid-damage exclusion. Review Mashfix Apple repair eligibility or Apple’s warranty terms.

How to request warranty service

Contact Mashfix within the 30-day warranty period and identify the original repair. Provide the customer name, device, and invoice or service record when available. Mashfix must be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect the device and determine whether the reported problem is covered by the original repair warranty.

If the device is overheating, swelling, emitting an unusual odor, showing signs of electrical failure or has experienced new liquid exposure, stop using it and tell Mashfix before bringing or powering on the device.

A warranty claim does not automatically mean every later problem is covered. Mashfix will compare the current condition with the original repair, documented symptoms, parts used, and any damage or changes that occurred after service.

Other rights

This limited warranty describes Mashfix’s voluntary repair coverage. It does not exclude, restrict or waive any consumer rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or waived. If a written service authorization, manufacturer warranty or service-specific agreement provides additional applicable coverage, those terms apply according to their scope.
