Mashfix SMS Terms

Mashfix Computer Repair Services offers optional text and picture messages to help customers manage their service requests.

Mashfix Computer Repair Services is operated by NEPFOSYS LLC, doing business as Mashfix.

What messages cover

Messages may include repair progress, questions about an estimate or diagnosis, appointment coordination, service-related pictures, replies to customer questions and notices that a device is ready for pickup. This program does not enroll you in promotional or advertising texts.

How to choose text updates

On our service request form, enter your mobile number and select the separate, optional service-text checkbox before submitting. The checkbox is unchecked by default. You may submit a request and receive service without choosing text messages. Provide a number you own or are authorized to use.

If Mashfix sends you a private electronic intake link, you can also select the same optional service-text checkbox on the final review screen. This is separate from your repair authorization and electronic signature. Staff may also record permission you expressly give them for service-related texts.

I agree to receive service-related text and picture messages from Mashfix Computer Repair Services only at the mobile number I provided, including repair updates, estimate questions, appointment coordination and ready-for-pickup notices. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase or service.

Permission given to our team

If you prefer to give permission over the phone or in person, our staff explain the complete disclosure above, confirm your mobile number, and ask: “Do you agree to receive these service-related text and picture messages at your confirmed mobile number?” You may say no and still receive service. Staff record an affirmative answer with the case, staff member, date and time, consent wording and a note describing how permission was given. Giving us a phone number, signing repair terms or being an existing customer does not enroll you.

Frequency and charges

Message frequency varies with your service request and conversation. Message and data rates may apply under your mobile plan. Mashfix does not charge a separate subscription fee for these messages. Ask your wireless provider about your plan’s messaging charges.

Stop messages or get help

Reply STOP to a Mashfix service message to opt out. You may receive a confirmation of your opt-out; further service texts will stop. To rejoin after opting out, reply START to the same number. Reply HELP for assistance, email support@mashfix.com, or call 682-812-5256. You can also contact us by phone or email to ask us to stop texting you.

Privacy and service availability

We retain your consent choice and message history as part of your service record. Your consent applies only to Mashfix service messages and does not give any other business permission to contact you. We do not sell or share mobile information or text-message consent with other businesses for marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers may process the information needed to deliver messages for Mashfix and operate this service; they do not receive permission to contact you for their own purposes. Read our privacy notice for more information.

Message delivery depends on your carrier, device and network. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Do not use text messages for emergencies or send passwords, payment-card details, recovery keys or other sensitive account information.
