Plan your service · Rowlett
Make an intermittent problem easier to reproduce.
A desktop that passes a short test may still fail during the task you actually use. Describe how long it usually runs, what happens on screen and whether sound continues. A clear reproduction pattern helps the technician plan relevant testing.
- Write down the game or application, the activity in progress and approximately how long the PC runs before the fault appears.
- Tell us whether restarting restores normal operation, and whether the computer needs time to cool before it works again.
- Share a photo or short description of visible errors when possible, but do not send account passwords or recovery codes.
Important files on the PC? Mention them before resets or reinstalls. Review data recovery options.

Gaming PC service questions
Can Mashfix assess a Rowlett PC that works sometimes and crashes at other times?
Yes. Provide a repeatable pattern if one exists, including tasks, timing and recent changes. Intermittent faults can require longer observation than a consistent startup failure, so the expected testing and repair timeframe is discussed after assessment.
Where can Rowlett customers bring a gaming PC?
Mashfix Dallas is an intake option at 4323 W Illinois Ave, Suite 104, Dallas, TX 75211. Call 682-235-7712; posted hours are 10 AM–10 PM, 7 days a week. Walk-ins are welcome. Call first for a heavy tower, custom cooling loop or unusual hardware.
How much will gaming PC repair cost, and how long will it take?
The fault, parts, test time and availability determine the quote and turnaround. Share your build and symptoms first. Mashfix explains the proposed work, price and expected timing before you approve the repair; the request form does not confirm an appointment.
